Vehicles
The person who has passed away will be driven to the service in a hearse which afterwards will lead the procession or cortege if this is desired. This can be a modern motor car hearse or, if you would prefer, a vintage horse-drawn carriage or a custom built motorbike hearse.
Our fleet of modern purpose-built white hearses provide a dignified and professional presence.
Our vintage horse-drawn hearse dates back to the last century and was last used in the Gatton area. The hearse was restored by Judith's father Kevin McGrath several years ago and is exclusive to clients of Australian Heritage Funerals. This hearse is a very special way to convey the person who has died to the funeral and is much loved by those who have an interest in horses or vintage vehicles. There is an additional charge for the use of this special vehicle.
We are pleased to offer the motorbike hearse at no extra charge. It is available to those who love motorbikes either now or in days gone by and to families who would just like something a little different for the funeral of their loved one.
Our motorbike hearse is the only one available in South East Queensland.
