Saying Goodbye
For many people there is a desire to spend time with their loved one and see them one more time. When there has been some suffering or a sudden death, it can be very comforting to see the person you love at peace.
Saying "goodbye" can be done privately in our chapel at the funeral home at a time to suit you or in another place chosen by yourself, such as the family home.
The choice of viewing is a personal decision and is best made by the individuals themselves. Most people who do choose to view, say that they have found it rewarding and helpful. However it is not easy. As painful as it may be, viewing does allow the survivors to face the reality of the death and begin the journey of mourning and healing.
