Pre-Arranging

prearrange How To Begin
There is no need to feel anxious or apprehensive. Rest assured that you will receive the highest quality service. We can offer you advice on all aspects of pre-arranging your funeral and all our staff are caring professionals who are there to listen to your needs and guide you through the process.

Pre-arranging the funeral involves meeting with us or one of our staff to record your personal details and funeral preferences.

All you need to do is to telephone Australian Heritage Funerals on 4634 9946 and we will arrange to meet with you either in the comfort of your own home or at our funeral home, whichever is more convenient for you. Pre-arrangement is a complimentary service to our clients.

Together we will discuss the various options available, such as your choice of venue, burial or cremation details and your preferences for items such as music. We will also ask a variety of questions regarding personal details for the registration of the death, such as your birth date, names of your parents etc. You may find it helpful to have copies of your birth or marriage certificates available, although this is not essential.

Once you are happy with everything, we will then record all the details and keep a confidential record of your plans on file here at Australian Heritage Funerals. We will also provide you with copies to be kept at home and, if you wish, to be given to family members or your solicitor.

As the plans that you make may not be used for many years, please remember to update or review them as necessary to keep the details current.

Pre-paying your Funeral
If you wish, as well as making the funeral arrangements in advance, you can pay in advance too - although you will not be pressured to do so as this is entirely your decision.

Pre-payment is one way to ensure that your family will not face a financial burden at some time in the future.

All the details and the costs involved can be decided upon when there is not the emotional stress that accompanies a death.

You can discuss with us the kind of funeral plans you feel are suitable. All the individual items are calculated at current rates.

You can pay the full amount as a lump sum or pay in instalments. All monies paid are invested in a totally secure capital guaranteed funeral fund protected by the Funeral Benefit Business Act of 1982, so you can have total confidence and complete peace of mind.

You can protect and maximise your pension as the monies paid into the plan will not be considered as part of your assets. It is therefore not subject to any income or assets test when assessing your pension allowance. (This is current legislation at the time of this website construction)

And you will lessen the stress on your family of asking themselves "Is this the funeral they would have wanted?" or "Did I spend enough on the funeral or too much?"

"Every aspect of your service from the first phonecall to the rendering of your account was sympathetic, honest, up-front and professional. Your personal service is 100%..."
