Australian Heritage Funerals was established in 1997 by Judith McGrath-Colquhoun and Brian Colquhoun to provide dignified, professional and caring funeral service.
Australian Heritage Funerals is a name associated with excellence in funeral care and we have earned our reputation by providing the highest level of service to the people of Toowoomba and local districts. This has seen our company grow to now be the second largest funeral company in this area.
We are both personally involved with both of us working actively in the day to day running of the company. We have built a proud reputation for professionalism, friendliness and genuine care so necessary at one of life's most difficult times.
We are proud that Australian Heritage Funerals is 100% Australian Owned. But just as importantly, we are a local family company.
Our family has many years of experience caring for local families and we are both proud to continue that long tradition. As you may know, we are the daughter and son-in-law of retired funeral directors Kevin and Jacki McGrath.
To save confusion, we wish to point out that Kevin McGrath Funerals is no longer in our family but is now owned by T.S. Burstow Funerals and has no connection with Australian Heritage Funerals or the McGrath Family.
The important principles we embrace form the basis of our professional bereavement care: compassion, friendship, integrity, kindness, a deep understanding for those who have suffered the loss of someone they love and respect for all faiths, creeds and customs.
